I wanted to show this excellent pointillism piece that I saw at Artprize. I didn't want to group it in with all of the others as I took a series of photos stepping back from it. It is made entirely of wine corks. The artist(I can't recall his name, but I intend on going back to it to vote a thumbs up on it) has a television set up next to it that plays a looping time lapse video of him plucking corks one by one off of shelves arranged by color and placing them on the portrait. Fascinating.
